The mind is not an invisible place in the life of a person. The mind is a whole entire reality, experienced with a different perspective and a different vision. As a matter of fact, most people spend more time in their mind, thinking, imagining and planning things for their physical "reality". No one is exempt of not using their mind. Unfortunately, many times is not people controlling the mind, but the mind controlling them because the mind is also the place where thoughts live and not always our thoughts are positive and empowering. For instance, thoughts of fear, anger, envy, anxiety, doubt and insecurity are self-imposed because most people don't know how to control their thoughts in the middle of hardships and therefore the mind controls them. Sadly, people tend to fall into the struggle of not fighting their negative thoughts and let them take over their lives, which leads to depression and a sense of loneliness. These low emotions will drain the person's power and motivation to better their lives.
The mind is vulnerable and unsteady, is sensitive and will easily go from being happy and strong, to weak and frustrated if things don't work out the way we expect them to. Not being able to accept that there is always a possibility for failure means that the fall will be harder. Learning how to silent the mind is key to understanding our physical reality as well as controlling our thoughts and emotions helping our feelings to be more grounded and secure. Anxiety is the worst enemy of the mind, it will plant ideas and fears that will obstruct our physical reality, making us not only think we will have to experience a bad outcome of events, but also will make us think negatively about others, thus trust in ourselves and others become compromised.
